It's been a little while since i've done a mural so it was fun to get amongst it again. This was for the Bus Bar in Deptford, belive it's oppening in the next month (although a lot of work still needs to be done). It's on the toilets, i always seem to get toilets as a space, i hope it's not a critique.

So yeah it's at 32 Deptford Church Street, Deptford, London, SE8 4RZ but won't be open for a little while looks like it will be a grand venue when finished though.

One of the reasons why this blog has been soooo quite of late is for the last 4 months i've been doing the artwork for 6 games for the new Horrible History’s series, it's a fun kids TV show so great fun to work on, and an interesting departure for me, very different to print working.

Ross Sutherland has compiled a collection of sonnets based on Street Fighter 2 and it's characters. A mental and brilliant undertaking indeed. It's being released by Penned In The Margins in May, I don't believe there's an official title yet.

Painting For Shift Work

Here's a piece I painted for the Shift Work Exhibition, there were so many fantastic pieces that went up that I have to share pics when released, (and better pics of my bit when I’m sent them). For now here's some ones from a mates camera which wasn’t really up to snapping as I was all high up and balancing of scaffolding (a new first for me). I don't really like my heights.

I Lovley mate has started a rather clever project of 'tagging' artworks found around the streets of London (& i assume further affield). But it's probably more concise if i use their 'about' Blurb from their site.

"I Could Do That is an experimental project where members of the public are invited to write comments about works of street art in and around East London. We thought, if you can post words of praise/criticism/abuse under videos on Youtube, why can’t you do it for graffiti? The streets belong to everyone don’t they? Why shouldn’t everyone have a say?"

It involves those QE images (look like little black and white magic eyes), a grand idea indeed.
