Deptford Party Live Drawing Pic's & A Give Away

Here's some pics from the 1st 'Party Party Party' night by the Deptford Army Deptford Army

It was a grand night indeed, if i got rather a bit too messed up before starting the drawing, but managed to wing it, (ish).

It was a grand night indeed, if I got rather a bit too messed up before starting the drawing, but managed to wing it, (ish).

Anyways the piece is now back at my house, & I don't know what to do with it (it's huge at 5m x 0.5m), so if you want it, make me an offer. Either cold cash or a fun trade (if money, it will be split with the promoters)

The highest bid, or most funnest thing received by the 6th of November gets it.

Either comment with your thing here, or email me at getliffe@kitchendistrict.com

Here be some pics

Most of these pics are by Ann-Marie

(oh it did get a bit doodled on by others, but only all wee, poorly, & with pencils)

Random Bunny Strip #26 (Substitution)

Due to being in Marrrrgaaatte last week, i havn't had time to do a new Bunny Strip (& i've pritty much run out of old ones). So here's another sly substitution. Yay

Margate Is a Bit of a (fun) Shithole

Been all off on Holiday in Margate last week (which is why there's a substitute for this Tuesdays Bunny Strip). A very strange dingy place indeed. Filled to the brim with listless teens on aimlessly swooshing on their Bikes, and a graveyard of what was once shops. But at the same time very friendly.

But got to go to my first foam party, oh my. In a club that was half dance & half metal (but all from the early 90's) quite a sight to see Goths and Chavs all getting foamy together, in once sense quite hart warming, in another sense foam party’s are horrendous. Especially when you turn around and have the full blast go down your throat.
But random guy ‘Dave’ was right when we asked for somewhere that was good, there was indeed. “ loads of Lasses with their tits oot”.

I don't think Chas & Dave have been there for sometime, I wonder if they'll be disappointed.

Blog Counter Oddities #2, & i hate my phone

Apparently, for the most part the counters stopped working a few months back. Stupid Google blogs, why have it then.

I also missed out on free Pearl Jam tickets tonight because I never hear my poky phone. Bah.

On the upside something big, and secret, and fun, is coming together quite nicely, yay.

Random Bunny Strip #25

Here's an old strip from the Little Bunny Book Of Music, indeed.

Cotton Trade Illustration For Who's Jack Mag

This is for an article about the Cotton trade, the raw article sent over was a bit scary. For instance (according to the World Health Organisation) 1-5 Million cases do pesticide poisoning occurs every year. Resulting in 20,000 Deaths, and 200,000 to commit suicide.

Scary stuff indeed.

That issue of the mag is out in October I believe (they works a fair few ahead), but in the mean time worth goggling it for more info.

Blog Counter Oddities, & I really REALY want to go out

Why do Doodling jobs always come in either on mass with a quick turn around, or are ones that I’ve put to one side (because I’m still act like a child with [all be it fun] 'homework') resulting in me not being able to go out tonight, Bah.

Also my counter for this sites gone weird, or everyone hates me and is being mean, I started doing this blog thing 'proper' in February & got 650/660 odd nice (& definitely sexy) visitors by June. Now it seems no one visits anymore as it hasn't changed since, yet my daily hits on my site are all scarey and fun. do I smell here? is it broken?

Anyone know?

I want to go out and play, & my house smells all funny (perhaps it's me).

Comic Impact Review Of The Little Bunny Book Of Music

I thought these were long gone, but Rob Andrews from Comic Impact seemed to have stumbled upon a copy and decided to review it. Which is all nice of him, as he said nice things, which is nice. This hangover has destroyed my vocabulary,......nice.

here be an extract

The funny thing is, is that at the end of each short story, there is a little pun which pokes fun at the downfalls in various aspects of the music industry, and in all fairness, makes you think. It’s remarkable how a little comic filled with stories of cartoon bunnies talking about music can make you realize these things, things that perhaps, you’d never thought of before. Getliffe obviously uses his bunnies to speak the truth here, and I’m liking that.

For the rest, and a bunch of other comic type things check, Comic Impact Review

Gravity Guide #7 Strip

I do 'Wholesome' Strips for the Bi-Monthly Gravity Guide, thought I’d stick the last one on here as well, Just because, well I’m avoiding doing work and this Simpson’s Episode has quite finished yet so I’m faffing about updating this blog.

Gravity Guide is released all over South East London, and is Free, Yay.

Bubblegum Slut Zine #34 doodles

Did some drawings (for an article on Garry Holten of all things), for the rather fantastic Bubblegum Slut Zine, this thing is crammed so thick with great articles it's rather silly (it generally looks like it's about to explode shooting paper everywhere), it even has a furry hart on the cover, oh my.

Going against the grain of current times, they only release in print (nothing online), haven’t a clue where you can get them from, they do seem to just pop up in places, but check there site, or if you seen one I heartedly recommend it.

Who's Jack Magazine Launch & Genin Lives 2

Who's Jack is a mag that I do a strip for & occasional illustrations. It's now gone all big glossy A4 like and should be out in shops that sell mags early August.
Who's Jack

The launch party was a very strange affair indeed, only had a brief visit from a gig I was doing art stuff for at the 333 Club in Shorditch, Gennin lives. At some point I got all messed up like, I have no idea what happened, which normally suggests I was a dick, sigh. Oh and Babar Luck is a lovely chap indeed.
